Beyond our carnal mind
God’s grace is one of a kind
And being no longer blind
Through Christ in us we find
Mary’s little baby boy
Righteousness, peace and joy
Wrapped in swaddling clothes
And lying in a manger
On the first Christmas morning
The Christ generation is dawning
Under the threat of Herod’s warning
Jesus Christ is born!
To free our souls of sin
And the Law of Moses
Through God’s grace within
The Divine Root!
Doth not wisdom cry?
And understanding put forth her voice
On top of the high places
By the way in the path of choice
Glory unto God in the highest
And peace and love on earth to all men
Giving all thanks to God
We sing “Merry Christmas”
